1 Day to GO – Are you ready?

With just one day to go, are you ready to help support us for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month for March 2019.

With over 21,000 women being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, can we afford to be complacent? We think not. The scourge of ovarian cancer must be stopped.

GO Girls were represented at the Eve Appeal’s #maketimefortea yesterday at the House of Commons; we heard 2 heart-rending stories from Fi Munroe and Andrew Gwynne MP.

When you hear the story of a 30 year old being diagnosed with stage 4b ovarian cancer – yes incurable – with barely a dry eye in the room, you realise you have responsibility to do something for women for the future. To hear how chemotherapy was described as the mix of “the worst flu, food poisoning and a hangover from hell” all in one go, would you want another 30 year old to go through that? We don’t. So we are calling on you to help us this month – follow our calls to action and share, share, share. Tell everyone.
