Join us in a 450km Charity Bike Ride

India a country steeped in history and cultures, this once in a life time adventure will take you on a 450km bike ride touring the Golden Triangle. So if you’ve thought you’d like to take on a challenge and experience the wonders and vibrancy of India, then this is the challenge for you. Alongside this, you know you will be raising money for a great cause, keeping fit and seeing a host of sites along the way as well as being immersed in the culture and history of India with its colours, vibrancy, exotic foods and spices. So what can you expect

During this 10 day trip you will be cycling 450km over 6 days. The challenge is fully supported by guides and back up vehicles. You will cycle with other like-minded people whilst having great fun too. Organised by a team, Charity Adventures, who know the country and people well, will ensure you are not disappointed on any step of your journey.

Funding your Challenge

The adventure costs £2,500 and includes:
  • International flights to and from the UK (including all known UK air taxes, and fuel surcharges, at the time of costing)
  • Internal flights (if required)
  • All ground staff including English speaking guides, drivers and back up vehicles
  • Hotels
  • Hire of modern bicycles 
  • Bottled water & refreshments while cycling
  • Entrance to Wildlife SOS Elephants and Black Bears
  • Tour of Agra and entrance to the Taj Mahal
  • Visit to Mother Teresa’s orphanage

  • Tour the pink city of Jaipur and attractions with entrance to the observatory

  • Do I need to be superfit?

    No. This challenge is available to everyone over 18 of all fitness levels . We support you along the way with back up vehicles and an experienced team who have been running these adventures for over 6 years, so no one is left struggling so you can enjoy your challenge to the full.

  • What are the payment & fundraising deadlines?

    Registration fee is £350 and is required on booking £350 is required by the end of April 2019.


    Additionally, you must raise a minimum of £1800. This includes £500 sponsorship money for GO Girls. Payment must be received no later than 31st August 2019.


    If you wish to extend your trip to Shimla, the additional cost will be required by 31st August 2019.


    If you do not raise the minimum sponsorship of £2,500 you will forfeit your place. Of course you can fund the whole trip of £2,500 with no fundraising or top up any balance yourself to avoid any disappointment of missing the trip of a lifetime. You could also choose to fundraise for the full amount.

  • Do the prices include all known air taxes?

    We include ALL known air taxes (including fuel) at the time of costing. Many companies do not include air taxes at all, and clients are therefore hit with a surcharge of three or four hundreds of pounds just before departure. If the air taxes increase between the time of costing and your departure, Adventures will notify you of any additional payments required before departure.

  • What is the typical group size?

    The typical group size is 10-20 participants.  This means that everyone can get to know everyone really well adding to the richness of the experience.

  • What will my funds go to support?

    GO Girls is determined to raise awareness of all gynaecological cancers. Funds raised through the Cycle India Trip will support a new campaign for ovarian cancer.

  • What do I need to bring?

    All participants must bring their own cycling helmet (this must be worn at all times when cycling on the tour). 


    If you are taking any regular medication please pack these along with your prescription list.  It is your responsibility to check that these prescriptions can be brought into the country. 


    Don't forget to pack your cycling kit and water bottles.
