GO Girls campaign harder in 2020

It's been quite a year for GO Girls, but there is still much to do, says Chair & CEO, Hilary Maxwell.  We know cancer cases are rising - both in endometrial and ovarian. There is much to do to educate women about their bodies and to know what is right and what is not right and when to take action.  Without doubt, we've seen the start of some phenomenal changes in gynaecological cancers - PARP inhibitor drugs, the AI revolution in radiology will undoubtedly change how cancers are diagnosed, the move to the 28 day cancer diagnosis rule in 2020, the start of research into urine testing for cervical cancers and much more.  We are supported by an incredible team of Trustees and a Clinical Advisory Team.  We know that for many women and their families support is vital in cancer care and with the increasing numbers of cases and the squeeze in healthcare services, charities like ours, along with others, are a vital part of offering this support. We have two clinical nurse specialists who, as part of our team, are always happy to answer questions.  So why not contact us if you have a query or just check us out to see what we are up to in 2020.
