Law Firm Support GO Girls 2019
Cancer charity, GO Girls, were thrilled to receive an early Xmas present from local law firm, Porter Dodson.
Porter Dodson’s Bridport Office chose GO Girls as their annual charity and have been busy throughout the year running a number of fundraisers to bring their total gift to GO Girls to over £2000. Hilary Maxwell, Chair of GO Girls said: “It’s been a great year working with Porter Dodson. This is a significant sum from a very small team. We both wanted to ensure the funds raised support an area of gynaecological cancer health and prevention. This sum will support our Cervical Cancer Prevention campaign to be released in January 2020 – an area where we know we have reached a 20 year low in screening and HPV vaccinations are not always being taken up a key preventer in developing the disease”.
