Well another year on and there’s still much to do in women’s health.
Gynaecological cancers still receive much less attention than other cancers and GO Girls are working hard with many others to support change.
With expected rises of 15% in ovarian cancers by 2035, it is vital women familiarise themselves with the key symptoms – ovarian cancer should be silent no more.
We want to encourage women to attend for their smear tests. Smear tests save lives. Period.
We want policy makers to recognise that we must make inroads into improving survival in ovarian cancer. We want them to help support earlier diagnostics and support greater access to these diagnostics in primary care.
GO Girls believe support is vital to recovery in cancer care – we want all women who have been diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer that GO Girls will be here for them on their cancer journey.
